Waterseal were appointed by Story Contracting to deliver podium deck waterproofing works as part of the redevelopment of Middlesbrough Train Station. Our scope included protecting the concrete deck forming the basement roof to ensure long-term durability and watertight performance beneath public and structural areas.
Working closely with the main contractor and design team, we installed high-performance waterproofing systems with careful detailing around movement joints, penetrations and drainage interfaces to safeguard occupied spaces below within this busy transport environment.
