Waterseal completed waterproofing and expansion joint installation works on the UK's first stainless steel road bridge, Pooley Bridge in Cumbria.

The new bridge in Pooley Bridge replaced the 18th century stone bridge structure destroyed during Storm Desmond in December 2015.

Waterseal applied the PMB highways approved spray bridge deck waterproofing system to the concrete deck.

A combination of USL's BEJ jointing system and NCC's Emseal SJS expansion joint systems were installed as the main bridge expansion joints.

The Seismic Colorseal system was installed to give a watertight seal to various movement joints in the structure.
