Waterseal were appointed by Balfour Beatty to deliver bridge deck waterproofing works as part of the North Road Bridge refurbishment in Edinburgh. The project involved phased removal and replacement of waterproofing across this Category A listed structure linking the city’s Old and New Towns above Waverley Station.
Works were carefully sequenced alongside wider restoration activities, allowing the bridge to remain operational while upgrading long-term protection against water ingress and structural deterioration.
